MXRums 'Panela' Orlando Vásquez

Made from the juice from freshly cut sugar cane, slowly boiled, and then the resulting syrup is passed into cone shaped wooden molds where it hardens. The outcome is referred to locally as Panela. Notes of nutmeg, lemon cream pie, and dulce de leche.
